The Entire facility needs to be updated. The carts are very old and hardly operate. The customer service is good however the entire facility truly needs a complete renovation updated to 2019/2020 standards.

From reservation to check-in to tour of the facility, everything went like clockwork. We are downsizing and moving and this was a great way to limit the stuff boxed up in our new place until we get a little organized. Since this is the first time we have used a storage facility, we can't compare but are sure they don't all have the personable office help or ease of rental nor the low monthly fees.

It's gated and the actual price of unit is good and affordable. But they do have fees that are not mentioned until you go in to pay. For example you have to pay an extra $20 that you add on to monthly lease for insurance and they make you buy a $12 lock. Then a $25 dollar one time fee. So my $39 unit that was half off the first month came up to like $79 somehow. I do have to vouch for their truck because it was only $20 with a $50 deposit that I got back the next day.

All my kitchen stuff was stolen at this facility behind the gates with cameras and when I asked the manager there to rewind the tapes and help me recover my things she refused.

The price is great. The storage unit was extremely small. I was misinformed about the size I needed by mini u representative. The security is ok but there is clearly a couple that is living out of their storage unit and im sure management is aware because these people are there in the day time.....I rented a truck from the mini u location and there was a $50 deposit for the truck. Should have been refunded but instead mini u released the hold on my funds and then recharged my card for $50 and I had to DISPUTE THE CHARGES WITH MY BANK. ......reps are very nice and units are clean but its not going to be a carefree or hassle free experience...be ready to practice self control

I've never used a storage facility so this is a first for me. I wish there was a little more light in the unit. The computer was on the fritz so it took much longer to get checked in. The receptionist was very friendly and apologetic for the inconvenience.

They rented the truck to someone else when I had already reserved it and I spent 2 1/2 hours at the facility filling out paperwork and waiting for a truck they did not have on premises like promised. If I was in a better position for time, I would have gladly paid more and gone somewhere else!

Nice location for North Sarasota and Bradenton - Near the Airport We were very professionally welcomed both times by two different employees - It was easy to make it work and the insurance price were reasonable for our small unit. Nothing fancy at all - but fine for items which are not valuables. Think a bringing your own code lock - they only sell those with keys.

There are no mysteries or surprises with the service and charges. Hours are geared to the customer's needs. The premises are secured by easy-to-use security gates. The premises are clean, orderly, and numbered by space. Upgrades are available if additional space becomes necessary. The charges are very competitive and, in fact, much more reasonable than their competitors. As you can tell, our family is well pleased with the service and just renewed our contract. Very pleased with the value and service of Mini U Storage.
